What does the name Triple TeQ mean?

Triple comes from the concept of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL).  Most companies just focus on one bottom line - the financial one.  However, for an organization to truly be sustainable, it must also focus on treating all people well and utilizing resources in an ecologically sound manner.  So the triple bottom line is about People, Planet and Profits.  The founders of Triple TeQ feel that this concept is so important that we incorporated it into the company name and continuously look for ways to walk the talk on TBL.  For example, we have recently changed to 100% wind power for electricity at our corporate headquarters.

TeQ comes from a combination of the words technology and technique.  The Q is capitalized because of our emphasis on Quality.  Organizational transformation often involves the use of technology, but technology alone will not solve problems and bring about real improvement.  Too often organizations focus on the development of technology and lose sight of the users of that technology.  For transformation to be successful, all stakeholders must be engaged at appropriate places in the process.
